Center

Christ-centered believer who consistently surrenders to God's will, reproduces the Christian faith in the life of others and lives a life of service.

In response to what Jesus has done for me...

PRAYERS

  • I pray for people I do not know.
  • I view prayer as a constant (as opposed to a specific time set aside) conversation with God.
  • I experience an ongoing dialogue with God throughout my day.

PRESENCE

  • I expect to enter the presence of God when I worship.
  • My worship is not compromised by secular mindsets. I worship to glorify God, no matter what the music style, atmosphere or sermon topic may be.
  • My focus is fully upon my holy God as I meet Him in worship.
  • I know what it means to worship in spirit and in truth.
  • I am looking for ways to intentionally disciple others.

GIFTS

  • I believe a Christian should live a sacrificial life that is not driven by pursuit of material things.
  • My first priority in spending my money is to support God’s work.

SERVICE

  • I continue to work closely with a mission partner after my international/local mission experience.
  • I feel fully equipped to reproduce my Christian faith by practicing one-on-one discipleship with adults, children or students.
  • I have tremendous love for people I know and those I don’t know.
  • I feel empowered to go out on my own to meet the needs of others.

WITNESS

  • I have led people to Christ.
  • I am walking with another person as he or she is learning more about grace on his or her spiritual journey.

What steps can I take in response to the Gospel to continue my spiritual journey toward a Christ-centered life?

SERVE

Local or International Missions Leader
Mentor others who may be involved in a missions experience for the first time. Assist with the planning, preparation and “on the field” leadership for a local ministry partner or international trip. Participate in the Missionary Candidacy Program. As we begin to lay down our desires and listen more intently to the desires that God has for our lives, some will feel called to vocational ministry. The Missionary Candidacy Program will help clarify and equip you for that call.
