How Do I Join Christ United Methodist Church?

Each one of the 6000+ people who make up our church family has become a member in the same
way, and we invite you to join us in our journey toward Christ as well.

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you may join Christ Church on any weekend at the end of any
of the worship services in one of three ways:

(1)
By Profession of Faith: Confessing that you personally have accepted the sacrifice Christ made
on the cross for all your sins and have made the decision to follow Him as Lord.

(2)
By Transfer of Letter from another United Methodist Church or a Christian church of another denomination.

(3)
Associate Membership also is available for those who do not want to break ties with their
family church or denomination but who want to worship and serve at Christ Church. College
students who live in another city or state may want to join as associate members.

Simply walk up front with your new member card in hand (available at all Welcome Points) when
the pastor gives the invitation.  If you would rather join in a smaller setting,  contact us to learn
more about our monthly Sunday evening service.

If you are not yet a Christian but would like to talk with someone about this decision, we would
welcome an opportunity to share the good news of Christ with you.

If you have never been baptized, you can make an appointment with the pastor and schedule a time
for baptism. The second weekend of the month is set aside for this special event.
