PRACTICUM OPTIONS
The goal of Christ College is to make disciple-makers. The practicum is key to this process. At the end of every semester, students are encouraged to put into place what they have learned. This may mean leading a small group, an adult or children's Sunday school class, mentoring someone one-on-one, or serving in a significant capacity in our city or world. Check out the list of options.
START A NEW SMALL GROUP
Christ Church is always looking for small group leaders who can walk beside others as they move toward a Christ-centered life. We believe that small groups are a significant place where people can connect deeply with God and one another. Find a group of friends who are interested in studying the Bible together, and the Community Life Team will support you as you get started. Contact Scott Lees.
LEAD ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS
This tends to be one of the first Community Life Group connections for attendees or new members. The Community Life Team would love to help you start a new class or lead a current class.
LEAD CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS
Leading a children's Sunday school class is a great way to invest in the next generation. The goal is for each class to have a consistent and faithful leader throughout the summer. Curriculum is provided by the Children's Ministry. Here is a list of specific classes that need faithful teachers.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES
International mission trips have a unique way of teaching students to apply the lessons they have learned about faith. Each trip has its own specific focus, but all of them will encourage you to put into practice what you have learned through Christ College the previous semester.
Zambia Construction:
This international missions experience is a great way to use your gifts for construction to serve our ministry partners in Zambia. There will be both big and small construction projects at Zimba Mission Hospital and Zimba School.
North Korea/China Construction:
This part of the world has long been closed to the Gospel, and through construction projects with ministry partners here, we hope to have opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through our acts of love and service.
Russia:
Join several college students from Christ Church as they minister to college students in Russia. This is a great chance for you to build a relationship with one of our students as you both build relationships with students in Russia.
For more information about these and other international missions experiences, contact Eric A. Please prayerfully consider how God might use you outside the familiarity of Memphis and in another nation!
LOCAL MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES
We have a number of mission partners you can connect to as they minister throughout our city.
East High Football FCA Camp at Christ Church
Serve as a small group leader for players and coaches. Then throughout the football season, join the students for a pregame meal at East High on Friday afternoons from 3:30-4:30.
Eikon Ministries
Join with this ministry by assisting with work projects, leading Bible studies and helping with other activities as you build relationships with the youth of Binghampton.
Service Over Self (SOS)
Lead a team of senior high or junior high youth from Christ Church as they serve the homeowners of Binghampton by making their homes warmer, safer and drier. Spend a week at SOS doing construction and building relationships with the youth and your homeowner.
Refugee Empowerment Program (REP)
The Refugee Empowerment Program exists to equip and empower refugee families as they adjust to American culture. Teach or assist with their summer program as they teach skills to the youth they serve who are drastically behind in school, especially in math and English.
Mentors Needed for Mediation and Restitution/Reconciliation Services (MARRS)
Women are needed to mentor young ladies who are participating in MARRS, a ministry seeking to break the cycle of juvenile crime and truancy. Commitment time: As needed; contact Dual Matthews, 261-2161.
